What is a Wooden Gada ?
The gada, or mace, is a traditional Indian weapon and fitness tool, historically associated with Lord Hanuman and ancient warriors. It symbolizes raw strength, discipline, and valor. Over time, the traditional gada has evolved into modern forms like the hybrid mace, which blends ancient design with contemporary training needs.
It is a ball with a long straight handle (a.k.a. lever). A good gada will have wooden handle for extra grip support. The hybrid mace/gada has an uneven weight distribution, with most of the weight being in the ball (or head) of the mace.
